Rory doing great!
Rory is doing so well! He is very impressed with himself the wkend, gracefully binkying through the air, rolling around on the floor, laying in flops and stretching out his toes! He always looks like he is the happiest boy in the world, but the last couple of days he seems more agile and cheeky! We wrestle over the panacar, and he tries to hide his face in my arm and looks at me as if to say 'let me off todays dose, please!' - but he almost offers me his eye for the drops, he gets into position and just lets me do it! The fur above his left eye permantley sticks up now where i have to pull it up to put one of the ointments under his eyelid - but his eye looks better, his iris isnt blood filled anymore, but he still has pus spots on his pupil. I am hoping that he wont have to have his eye removed, but i will find out friday. Rory and i have given this treatment a bloomin good go so i just hope it works for him. I had friends over friday and casanova really showed off, licking them, putting his chin on his paws and looking cute, grooming his face and making his mane stick up - he has still got it!

Re: Rory doing great!
Thanks guys He has been through alot, that email from the breeder really upset me, seems she thinks she did a great job with him, though he has had medication not prescribed for him, been denied vet care, and put back with his mum and attacked. How he is so loving god only knows - he is asleep upside down as i write without a care in the world

Re: Rory doing great!
Its amazing he is the way he is given what he has been through. Please give him a cuddle from me x
I would be upset about that breeder too. the truth is she is slowly killing those buns in her care and what makes me really angry is that the RSPCA clearly havent done anything about it.

Re: Rory doing great!
And do u know what katie, they havent even called me with the outcome. Though the website is still updated with new litters etc so she is still going strong. She reffered to rory in her email as 'my lovely boy' - shame she didnt love him enough to take him to the vet. And as for her finding him a lovely home- that was pure luck, she knew nothing about me - she see's herself as a rescue- pah!

Re: Rory doing great!
Hello! Havent been on here for few days
Rory went back to the specialist yesterday, his eye reacts slightly to light!!!! Doesnt need to be taken out at the mo, so fingers crossed The vet then said that he doesnt need to be PTS??????????????????????? It seems the vet had thought on our previous visit that this was a likely outcome?! I am glad he didnt tell me that at the time, I knew it was bad, but not that bad His other eye remains fine, so it hasnt spread, he is happy as ever (except when I have to wrestle with him to take his panacur - a whole mnth of that and Rory is going to think Im the devil incarnate - every day having to wrestle with him is awfull - my fault really, I should be more firm to get it over and done with, but I dont like having to really restrain his whole body to get to his mouth, he shoves his head anywhere i cant get to it, in my arm pit usually! Yasi trys to hekp but she is too gentle too, we have to chase his head around untill I think he is getting stressed so I end up backing him into the corner of the sofa and holding his head against the side - does not make me feel good!
Thanks for asking, Hope you are all well

Re: Rory doing great!
Really good to hear from you.
This all sounds like really positive news for Casanova.
God you must have been horrified when they said that hun. What it does mean is that all the Rory Wrestling is working and he will hopefully continue to improve.
Its brilliant that he is seeing something out of the bad eye! Really amazing. You have saved him twice now x x x x
He will forgive you for all the manhandling - why cant they just understand that if they were more co-operative it would be over more quickly!
When are you back again?
