oh dear bluebell was having a grumpy day yesterday she tried to thump me every time but kept missing haha still she's in a more acceptable mood today i may get to pet her

I can vouch for Daisy being quite contrary! When I visited Katie in the summer, I sat on Daisy's rug and then reached out to stroke him. The audacity !!! He was less than impressed and gave me a big grunt to let me know the error of my ways.

hahahahahaha just cleaned bluebells rooms she wouldn't come out of her hutch just moved out of my way giving me the occasional look then once it was all done i noticed a little dark spot near her botty so picked her up gave her four kisses on her nose two nose rubs one for you of course then checked her bottom its a little dry markings of the obviouse so tried to clean it with a damp thumb but need to wash it i think so put her back she went around scraping all the new bedding then sat on her top shelf and just gave me some disgusted looks
she did not kick grunt growl not even a thump she must be ok with me i'm sure,
whats the best way to clean her botty without stressing her
no trouble cleaning out daisy and flopsy apart from flopsy trying to nose at everything and climb on me while i'm working hard at cleaning

You could try baby wipes.

It isn't too much of a problem just now as the weather is cool, but you generally don't want a bun to have a wet bum in warm weather because of the problems with flies. That is why if they are really really dirty and have to have a botty bath, you can't put them outside again until their botty is completely dry. For little problems, wet wipes are good as they lift the mess off without soaking the fur.

It sounds like she is at the 'tolerating' stage, the ' her being in charge' stage comes next! She is breaking you into your slave role.
