Feeling guilty :(
Yesterday, I caught thumper eating pellets after work. And she was munching on them yesterday evening, so I didn't make her her 'pie' last night - just gave her pellets. All but 5 bits were eaten during the night so I decided that I wasn't going to make her a pie this morning either.
I know I need to stand firm with this, but her little face She looked at the bowl, then me, then the bowl, then me again She did eat her mange tout of course
Did I do the right thing?? (it's gona be a log day!)

Re: Feeling guilty :(
She has proved she can eat the pellets so it is not unreasonable for you to expect her to eat them dry. By giving them soft all the time she is not getting the benefits to her teeth so if she can eat them dry then she should.

Re: Feeling guilty :(
Thanks Cheryl. Teeth complications are exactly my worry.
I just feel soooo bad! That face gets me every time, and she knows it all I can do now is hope she eats some of it today.
I wish my frickin bunny cam would HURRY UP!!!

Re: Feeling guilty :(
Bunnies have a way of making you feel guilty with those little faces of theirs, I do agree with cheryl'nbruce'flo giving the pellets dry will be better for her.

Re: Feeling guilty :(
They all do it to us, they have us well trained! When Florence was little, I used to give her pellets at night. One night she ate the lot and in the morning I refused to give her anymore. All day at work I felt guilty and felt awful, so I know how you're feeling. But you did the right thing

Thanks for the reassurance guys
They said 2-4 weeks and it has been 2 weeks today since I ordered it.
It'll probably take the full 4 weeks knowing my luck

I think you should make her a pie and a cake to make up for it. And some cookies.
Is she eating the pies with Pro-C in now?

Thanks for the reassurance Jay
Icedancer, no I have not made a pie today. I am trying my best not to. I need to break this habit of hers
Sparky, yes, she did take the pro-c in the pie. Good idea by you But now I am trying to break the pie habit, it's back in her water. (I'm going round in circles!!! )
Her food is munched tonight

Empty food bowl this morning
I nearly buckled and made her a pie before I went to bed but I managed not to (with great difficulty). I'm so glad I didn't!
Clever bunny!
