Did anyone receive the little magazine from petplan.
There's a letter from a bloke about a little rabbit called muesli (pg9) who's ear was ripped off by a fox, they went to feed him that night after the incident and said that they didn't notice till the next day because the good side was towards them.
I can't believe that they have published this letter (which I think he might have got a voucher for).
HOW could you not tell, the poor bunny would have been in so much distress and blood everywhere. Obviously they have just thrown his food in.
I am half way thru a letter that will be coming their way.
Disgusting! Hissy

I was also a bit shocked there was an article suggesting nethies are great pets for children.......

Would that be for their cuddly nature or their sunny disposition? ???

Errmmmmm, really???????????????

I'm amazed that rabbits even get a mention. In all the time I had my buns insured by them and received their magazine it was so biased towards dogs and cats.

I think a few letters from disgruntled rabbit owners would do them good. Grrrr

Also giving a bunny like Daisy to kids is probably a Child Protection issue! Laughing

And I think nethie owners need to be careful or they will end up on the dangerous animals list and like the pitbull they will face shortened lives.

Share!!!

I haven't got bunny insurance so I haven't read it, but I can't believe they didn't notice. Surely it would have been huddled in a corner in agony. Poor bunny Sad

This was totally a sprayed drink over the keyboard hazard, I think we are going to have to start putting warnings on threads featuring your sharp wit Nickie, or my laptop may not last much longer. ROFL ROFL

Yeah, I was really upset reading it too. It's like they were promoting the owner as a good pet owner - the poor, poor bunny had gone at least 24 hours with it's ear having been ripped off before the owner noticed Shocked

Same, too, what you said Nickie about being surprised if there was anything about rabbits in the magazine. They once sent a covering letter telling me they had produced the magazine 'for me' - yeah, right - so why did that issue not have any mention of rabbits then??? Pah. The latest one has a very, very basic guide to caring for rabbits (the Nethie one) which states a good 'mix' is the best food Hmmm

Petplan seem to be considered the best insurer for rabbits so why not promote themselves to rabbit owners? No

I am not sure this will be the case for long. PP have been one of only a few insurers to cover rabbits thus far but others are cottoning on. Obviously there is now the very competitively PAH insurance and someone told me the other day that her bun was covered by direct line as an extra to her puppy insurance. So I can only assume that they have started try out the market. I suspect more companies will follow and PP will be left playing catch up.
