Whats the diffrence?
between Redigrass and this? :
https://www.thehayexperts.co.uk/Hays%2C+Grasses+%252526+Herbs.4/Select+by+Hay+Type.130/Grass+Hay.19/Fresh+Forage.232.html
or are they basically the same thing?
also what dried herbs do people buy? do you buy a mixed bag of stuff or do you buy lots of individual bags?
I was buying this before (which Buttons loved) but I don't like that it has popped corn and oats etc.

Re: Whats the diffrence?
Is that not like the excel forage/ herbage? Which is more timothy hay/barn dried grass. I'm not overly sure what the technical difference is except readigrass is very green
I know there are several buns on here (Daisy B in particular) who loves plantain! You can get seeds or dried packs on the hay experts. Not sure if they eat all of it though?

Re: Whats the diffrence?
no its not the same as that herbage stuff, I know the one you mean, its brown and looks just like hay, but this one the hay is really green like redigrass! I found it on P@H website too: http://www.petsathome.com/shop/supa-forage-excel-natural-grass-1kg-15650
and ive looked at it in store and wondered if it is the same as redigrass?

Re: Whats the diffrence?
I think they are pretty much the same - but a big bag of readigrass if much more economical.

Re: Whats the diffrence?
Florence gets the "Woodlands" dried herbs from P@H, plantain, dandelion, a herby mix one (although she's not keen on that but I'm not opening one of the others until she's eaten it I have to admit it doesn't look as good as the others, it's like tiny strands) to name a few. She did have one that she loved, I think it was salad feast, but it had oats and corn bits in so she's banned from that one now!
Plantain is definitely the favourite. She'd eat that all day.

Sparky, you know you might strike a deal with the company that markets the plantain. Have your own 'Sparky Select' with the adorable pic that is used above your name. Do a commercial or two. Autographed pics. Your own franchise of bunny harnesses and leashes for today's fashionable companion rabbit. Then you make the hop over to girls wear(for human girls). Your picture on t-shirts. Shoes. Maybe bunny slippers. Picture printed on those afghan throws. Or at least you can have them get you a face cake!

Re: Whats the diffrence?
I think they are very similar, but the nutrients are slightly different. I was told that the Readigrass is high in calcium when fed in large quanitites.
As for the herbs. Burns do a fantastic range, as do excel. The naturals range also do some good ones, but as you say, some do contain cerials and seeds. The Dandelion and green oat from Wilkinsons is good too
I tend to buy a range and mix them all together in a tub and sprinkle them in hay, with their pellets, in forage boxes, toilet roll tubes, willow balls etc.
I do love all of the Burns range though, including the cat and dog food. They have a fantastic selection in this bunny bag, but it ends up being around £30 when delivery is added on! I havent calculated what the total cost would normally be, so not sure if its still worth it in the end, but i think its fantastic. Hered a link to the various small animal products:
