New here and to rabbits *pics*

We have many pets, guinea pig, chickens, dog , cats. Rabbits will be our new addition soon. We have family that have 2 rabbits they want to find new homes for and offered them to us. They currently live outside in the same building as their chickens. They don't know if they are male or female, so they have kept them apart. I saw some video for sexing them so we'll have to see what we have after we get them. For the spring and summer they will live outside. My husband will make them cages for in the house. They will also need some work to get them more tame.

We have members here that have one rabbit, to members who run rabbit rescues.

The first thing to do for the buns, is to get them sexed correctly. Your best bet for this is a vet as bunny sexing can be very tricky to do.

It sounds like perhaps the buns havent had the best start in life so they will need lots of love and patience.

They will need lots of space, lots of hay and a good quality rabbit food to eat and eventually hopefully you will be able to get them living together (although this isnt always easy). And lots and lots and lots of love.

Please ask any and all questions you have, we will do our very best to help you. We are a friendly bunch so please feel free to join in any of the posts x x

We got the bunnies today, from what we know they are at least a year old, both flop eared rabbits. They are both females but have not been living together. I would love for them to bond. What is the correct board to post questions on care etc?

Rabbit care articles have a lot of informative threads on a variety of subjects and it is worth reading through these before posting questions as often the answers are there.

Otherwise, in Chat, Tall Tails and Rabbit Chinwag are a board where you can ask questions for problems and see if anyone else has the answer. Usually there is a good response if someone has a problem.

Congrats! Tall Tales And Rabbit Chinwag is where you want to go. I'm just SO happy for you! We will want pictures!!!!!
