sharp sand and bunnies Empty sharp sand and bunnies

So my bunnies have proper mauled my lush green lawn so Im having to lock them away for a while and put some grass seed down.

I was told to mix grass seed in with sharp sand so it gives the grass something to cling to and root better so its not as easy for them to pull out but Im wondering can this do any damage??

Please could you clarify your question? Do you mean damage to your lawn or damage to the buns? Smile

Hiya,

I think it depends if the sand is treated with anything that could harm the buns?

Sorry I ment damage to the buns, apparently it gives the grass something to grip and is harder to pull out but I dont wanna put it down if the buns can ingest it

I wouldnt have thought it would cause any harm. The sand will be in with the soil and grass roots. The buns will be eating the grass once it has grown. I would have thought it was perfectly safe. Thumbs Up

The buns wouldn't want to eat it. Chickens maybe, but buns want the green stuff!
