half built buns enclosure
I am now done in, since about half 11 I have been making my buns enclosures BY MYSELF and I am now done in, what do you think so far.
Still to make gates, cover the rest of the sides with mesh, make the roof and thats the enclosure done, then make little activity things inside.

Re: half built buns enclosure
Thanks guys, I am really sore now had feeling would be but its worth it to have a super enclosure for the bunnies, its not as big as wanted for them all but its for full use 24/7 adding cat flaps to the houses so they can use it when they want and get the main garden when were not going out for extra space. combined with there houses and the other section still gives them loads of room. Going to add a level on charlies and a ramp for more space might have his window lead out to the level and cat flap under it. Concidering I dont know a thing about joinery plus useless with a saw and hammer I seem to have managed a not bad job.

Re: half built buns enclosure
Thanks folks, going to make the gate/doors tomorow. Thinking about getting the corrigated roof plastic and do the back half over lapping the buns houses and about few feet over there houses to give them more shelter in the bad rain, not sure if it would be to noisy when the rain hits it. Not sure if will use the same heavy wire mesh on the top or get the light weight green stuff, its just to keep the local birds out when were not in.

Re: half built buns enclosure
I have 3, but only 2 are going to bond, Rosie HATES charlie, I can tell by how she reacts when he goes near her door, she freaks out and has a tantrum, but if smokey goes to her they paw each other and lick each others noses. The enclosures are joined tho but going to double up the mesh in the middle if any problems arrise with the closeness. I dont see him being accepted poor charlie. He shouldnt get to lonely tho as my daughter spends alot of time with him, smokey grunts at her, I know why cos she bleeding annoys him with his toys, he doesnt play with his toys with us, but charlie does so she expects smokey to do the same, which he gets peed off at. So she now wont go sit with him, I sit with him bought a little stool to sit on he nibbles my leg or my bum lol but doesnt growl unless i try to get him to play with his toys. Rosie prefers cuddles. Hope to have it finished soon, hubby going for wood later on and I will nip up to b&q for some hinges and bolts then finish them later today (if it stays dry) failing that tomorow morning, clean them up then maybe get them all out to play. Not sure if to buy cat flaps or just leave there doors open, hubby says leave them open but am not happy doing that if it gets cold. Rosies I can remove the small door at the bottom, put cat flaps on the other 2.
