Fly killer spray.
We don't get too many flies in our house, but as we all know, they do get into houses now and again. I bought some fly killer spray when I was shopping today.
Is it a bad idea to use it in a house where buns can get access to any room? Obviously, I would NEVER spray it when they are in the room and I'll clean where I've sprayed, but worried nonetheless.... You know what I'm like

Re: Fly killer spray.
i'm not sure if it's bun safe but i personally never use it .
i went to Homebase and bought rentokuill fly paper that i hang above their beds and strategic places around the house.
they are it's non toxic and is sticky and catches them they work quite well for me they were 99p for a three pack
ETA: i would think fly sprays are dangerous for rabbits as it is toxic.

That's a really good idea! I might see if OH can get me one off eBay! (I'm too lazy to go out and hunt for one! )
Does it take batteries?
Just to add, I really hate killing things But when I have to choose between flies and bunnies, bunnies win every time!!

Re: Fly killer spray.
I know they would certainly be toxic if you are spraying it around them, I would never ever do that or use it in their room at all, it's in my kitchen/dining room I'd be using it as the back door is open a fair bit.fiver wrote:i'm not sure if it's bun safe but i personally never use it .

I don't even spray perfume around them
Eta... I do have those fly strip papers in their room but I can't find anywhere to hang one in the kitchen/dining room

i dont like to kill thing either, its only the flies as like you said is a contest of bunny or flies. Yep they take two aa batterys and on the plus side when the oh is driving you nuts you can give him a quick wack with the tennis racket [they really hurt, i tested it on other people in the house ]
