Humum had 'help' cleaning out...
... from the foster babies (although she says now that they are 2/3rds of Mum's size, they're hardly babies any more).
I does the sweepins.
No, I does the sweepins!
Euwgh, who did all that yuck?
That one is mine.
I'll just sit here and keep an eye on the toys, if you don't mind. Up here. Out of the way. Where it is quiet. Away from the kids. Take your time. No rush.
You missed a bit here.
I smoothings the paper.
All cleans now. Fanks. See you tomorrow, cleanins humin.

Re: Humum had 'help' cleaning out...
Aren't they just about the cutest little buns ever? So fluffy!
The doe is really young isn't she? i hope the babies will be OK.
She and them are gonna need super good nutrition. I can almost
hear their little bones screaming for calcium. I'm glad they are
being loved and cared for.

Re: Humum had 'help' cleaning out...
Don't worry Holly, they are thriving. They eat (and poop) an astonishing amount, have probably doubled in size in two weeks and are happy, active buns. We have some video of them zooming around the drive which I'll get Humum to put up when she gets home.
Poppy still has a little way to go - she's still thin although not as thin as she was. She's not feeding the babies any more so she can concentrate on getting better herself. The youngsters will be going back in another couple of weeks, so she can have some peace and quiet to build up her strength before going to be spayed.

I agree, a cuteness warning is definitely needed for any posts involving the (not-so-baby) babies! They are just gorgeous. And I'm sure their help was much appreciated
Poppy is so lovely. I'm so glad she's found a home for life where she can now be loved and spoiled at the Sparky Manor!
