A bit worried :/
Hector has a quite large lump where his right testicle was taken out, this wasn't there a couple of days ago when I checked. It is hard to the touch (so hard that it almost feels like bone) but doesn't seem to be hurting him as he was happy for me to prod it. I took a pic:
Sorry it's not great it was difficult to get a decent picture of, as you can see I drew an arrow pointing to it, his left side is fine, no lump, squishy to the touch.
Looks like I'll be pleading for some time off to take him to the vets :S

Re: A bit worried :/
A vet check is not a bad idea. It might just be a bit of scar tissue or something harmless, but best to have it checked.
I hope it's nothing to worry about

Re: A bit worried :/
I agree with everyone else, it is probably best to get it checked out just in case. It's always better to catch something early if it's going to develop.
Hopefully it's nothing though and just a bit of scar tissue like Sparky said!
Sending you some hugs and vibes to little Hector that it is nothing worrying

Re: A bit worried :/
As everyone else has said, but the fact that it isnt bothering him means its not an emergency. Hughie had a lump, which developed within hours, but he was off his food too.
Lots of vibes for Hector, i hope its nothing to worry about when you go to your appointment. xx

Re: A bit worried :/
Mum is going to meet me at the vets with him so I don't have to go all the way home then back again (I live about 20 minutes away from our vets, but I work in the same town as them)fiver wrote:if i lived near i would do the run for you

Re: A bit worried :/
Get him back to the vet it could be scar tissue or it could be an infection which could turn in to an abscess I would book him in for a check up on it .
* Oh I do apologise, I have a very bad habit of reading the first post then answering and I see you are taking Hector to the vet...Sorry, I must stop
doing this but I am usually passing by the computer and have a quick look when I answer*

He is booked in for tomorrow at 6pm, I will check him over in a sec, I've just finished dinner so I'm not up with him yet!

Re: A bit worried :/
Lump is definitely still there, he's not bothered by me touching the lump, but if I touch where the incision was he flinches, he's still fine in himself, ate all his veggies, and is currently chasing his treat ball around, so we shall see what the vets say

Re: A bit worried :/
He's fine, typically the lump had gone down by the time we got him to the vets I didn't have time to check it this morning but it was still there last night
The vet said it was probably just a bit of fluid that had built up
