Urgant rescue, help!!!
I am taking 2 baby boy bunnies in tonight, to save them from being strangled. The lass in vet called me, they know my love for bunnies & contacts, the nurse is driving to get them with the vet at this moment, but they urgantly need homes. I told her to bring the 2 to me so he wont kill them. Vikki was very uspset that they cant report him as no evidence.

Look at his front paws, yellow. Really angry, this a so called breeder, I thought was bk street breeder, nope pets at home vetted breeder, smell so bad, bath on sunday. There scared, feel slightly under weight, there legs are filthy and back end. Wont have time tomorrow to bath them plus would stress them. God knows what they feed them.

Re: Urgant rescue, help!!!
They're beautiful, but my gosh look at those feet looks like they've trod in dye.
hope they settle quick and the bath isn't too traumatic. These breeders make me sick.

Its disgusting looking, only way can get that yellow is if living on own filth & widdle. Will try to just put warm water in bottom if shower base. Let them sit in the water gentle rub there paws, I have rat shampoo as never needed to bath my babys so will use a tiny wee drop of that just on their paws & bum.

Re: Urgant rescue, help!!!
There indoors the now what ever happens they will need to stay house rabbits till winter passes so they can adapt in time for next year. I am going to buy charlies indoor cage bk from my friend as she gave up he piggie, its not ideal size for 2 on a perm basis but longer than crate allow them more space.

Re: Urgant rescue, help!!!
I dont bath my buns normally they are kept in clean housing & look after their own coats, I bath my smelly rats once a month, with rat shampoo, it should be gentle enough, but might just sit them on shallow bath of warm water, help break down the pee & dry poo stuck to there legs. Their walking funny, but think its nerves. Want them vet checked on monday, speak nicely to stephen see if he be nice again, just pay for worming them, book in jags. Will recover that with a homing fee.

Re: Urgant rescue, help!!!
How old do you think they are? I wouldn't be surprised if they had been in a small hutch for a very long time and that's why they're walking funny. They probably have to learn again and get used to it.

Re: Urgant rescue, help!!!
What wipes do you use, might try that on their bodies just to reduce stress, freshen up the smell its bad that had to get changed after handling them. They are actually starting to relax, got some nice fresh hay to munch on.
