Would be a real shame to split them as they have been through so much together bless them.
Are they both eating etc okay?

Re: Urgant rescue, help!!!
Oh, the poor little dears! Bless you for taking them in. I
cannot understand people's cruelty....nor do I want to!
It's just evil.
I hope they come through their baths well. It's good you
are letting them rest a bit. I imagine they messed up
everything just because they probably lived in a mess
and don't yet understand 'clean'. We are working with
Rory on that.

They are so very lucky to have you love, bless their little hearts. How can anyone even contemplate hurting a bun?

Re: Urgant rescue, help!!!
The breeder does if they dont sell, grrrrrr makes me sick. Got my charlies house cage back tonight, wanted to put them in it so gave them a gentle bath, bo (white one) didnt seem stressed as long as I kept my hand by his side or rubbing his head. Mostly just to soften the drier dirt, the waster had lots of grit in it, dont think it was fleas nothing was moving. Luke the black one looked ok but smelt real bad, the water was brown by time finished him, he soaked me trying to binky in the bath lol, drying in nice warm kitchen running up and down now. They seem relaxed enough to sniff the dogs. White ones back end is really bad, gave him a quick exam deffo male but older or more developed than other, his sacks are forming, I had to expose luke a bit to make sure he was male.

Re: Urgant rescue, help!!!
What a bunch of ******* **** holes. Makes me so mad You said the breeder is a P@H approved breeder? Why didn't the buns make it to the store? Does he/she breed them and then P@H only take which ones they want?
I forgot they were both boys (read the thread yesterday but didn't get round to replying) Are they brothers from the same litter?

Re: Urgant rescue, help!!!
I dont think they are, luke looks like a lop cross but bo looks like a proper lop. Lukes very skinny all over & not very active as often as bo. Bo however is very active and not in least bit scared infact very friendly keep running up to me nudging my leg & looking up at me as if to say hello I like you. I don't like how skinny his skull feels, not seen any lops up close but it seems like there is not much muscle tissue round his skull bone.

Re: Urgant rescue, help!!!
Just the warm water, filled the shower tray (dont have a bath) in my bathroom as its deeper, can get a good 2 inches deep bath, filled it enough to cover there paws. Sat in it for 10 mins while I gently washed a big black mark on his back with a tiny few drops of rat shampoo, rubbed his paws with my fingers then rinsed him with water from the wee boiler. Still bit smelly, checked their ears so thats not causing it, only thing can think its the farm smell combined with tones of poo. Had them playing in kitchen for over 2 hours think there tired out now. Luke has a weird ear, one hangs down by his cheek like a lop but other up straight, like my bunnies. Very odd.

Re: Urgant rescue, help!!!
is his ear constantly like it or is he doing it himself.
does sound odd though
could just be the smell lingering as they've been in a mess a long time

Re: Urgant rescue, help!!!
Hector is a mini lop and he doesn't have much fat or muscle around his head, when I stroke his cheeks (he loves it) I can feel his skull, but he's not underweight and he gets a lot of exercise

Re: Urgant rescue, help!!!
I think he could be a mini lop looking at the french & mini sounds more like mini. Luke has a longer nose and yip ear stays like that or lays flat towards his back while other ear sits like a lop, wonder if theres muscle damage in one of his ears.
