Ideas please
Hi now normally i winter my bunnies in a 12x12 stable filled thick with straw so they can dig their own little burrows and they have a cat scratch post thingy to hop onto and a litter tray and their food with hay thrown around the place..... do you think this is good enough is there something else i could do to make life more exciting for them? Also as i may be adding another bunny or two whats is the best way to introduce of at all and if not any bright ideas for splitting the stable into two big pens

Re: Ideas please
That sounds like a lovely spacious, warm winter home for two very lucky buns! Only other things I can think of for a bit more to do might be some toss toys, a few more upper levels or maybe some tunnels - although that straw sounds fabulous for burrowing about in! Do they have a little hidey house or somewhere they can bolt to when they feel scared?
Not sure how you would go about splitting the stable. I know some people make their own divides but it would have to be SO tall for a stable as the roof is so high on them. Someone else might have a bright idea

The cat post has 3 little bolt holes and they have a sofa to sit behind or on if they feel the need. The strwa is usually really deep in one corner to so they do vanish you have to be careful where you stand

Sounds great for winter. Ive tried to do the same for my foster bunny, but ive ran out of straw! lol. If i had stables, my buns would certainly occupy one of them!

Re: Ideas please
Sounds like a lovely home . Re introducing more buns you would need to make sure they were all neutered and then carry out some bonding (often quite tricky )

A stable! Wow!!
If you want to bond more buns in then you will advisably need to do it in a neutral space so there's no territory to fight over.
You never know, it could be an easy peasy bond - it does happen!

Re: Ideas please
Well the buns will be in a different stable and they are not in yet so it would be neutral so it could work :/
