He is fine. There is no sign of infection or a wound on the eyeball and the dye ran straight down his sinus and out his nose so no blocked tear duct. Claire did notice that he had a tiny bit of swelling on his upper eyelid so thinks he has bumped it on something and that in a couple of days it should clear up.

He has put weight on He is now 2kg which is the heaviest he has ever been Humum actually doesn't want him to put much more on until he has built his back leg muscles up a bit.

There's a bit of snot up his nose, but not a lot and he has not been sneezing so hopefully another week or so of the abx and nebulising will clear that up.

He still has a tiny impaction in his gut, so has a month's supply of Metaclopramide which he is chuffed about as he loves it. Claire said that it might clear very slowly (she thinks it has moved a bit from where it was) but to be aware that it could cause him problems in the future, and it's just a case of see how he gets on - his poos are reasonable now so it's not causing a blockage at the moment but he could be more prone to getting one. Seeing as a month ago his future looked very bleak indeed, Humum is not going to worry too much.

Taffy passed away this morning

We found him in his pen, very poorly indeed. We both got to have a cuddle and told him it was ok to let go if he had had enough and he quietly slipped away from us.

We are devastated to have lost our brave little guy

Oh god, No! I'm so, so sorry. It must be heartbreaking especially as you've fought so hard and he's seemed being doing so well latterly.

I can't imagine how hard it must be losing a precious one you've had since birth.

We are so so sorry , I just can't find the words as I'm in tears but I do know he had the best huparents he could have wished for
who cared and did their utmost best for him.
