Penelope has gone to the bridge and I can't quite believe it

Hello hoppers,

I haven't visited in a while as I've been super busy with university and the buns. However I decided to visit tonight as I knew I would be with people who would share my loss.

Three weeks ago my gorgeous baby bunny Penelope, aged 3, died. It was unbelievably unexpected, she'd been fine, a tad quiet but nothing for concern as we'd been travelling from my parents and home again. Then that awful Saturday night happened. She had been a bit quiet all day, which she is normally, she liked her sleep. Then as the night went on, she gpt a bit needy and just wouldn't leave my lap, I just though she was feeling a bit under the weather. She cuddled into my chest, us both in a blanket and she was happily there getting the occasional nose rub and kisses from me. Then in the space of 15 minutes, she had a fit, struggled and flipped on her back, gasped for air and then she was gone.

I couldn't believe it...I still can't. She was only 3, she was the loveliest, most mischievous, cheeky little soul. I'd had her since she was 6 months old and she'd become my cuddle friend, the one I'd chat to about life while we were in the flat, the play friend who'd love it when I'd lie on the floor so she could jump on my head and the giddy jumps she'd give me when I came home from class....and had salad in my hand or plate!

I am missing her terribly and I know Pipkin, my other bun and her husbun is as well. He's become needy and a bit sad and it breaks my heart I can't explain where she's gone.

Goodbye my darling baby girl...I hope you're having fun at the bridge, eating rugs and rumping around. Miss you and love you always xxxxxx

and now you are here but what a shock to hear about Penelope
