Oh no, I hope all the little bunnies in this part of the world have been vaccinated.

What a hideous way to cull rabbits
But what do I expect from a country that will not allow domestic rabbits to be vaccinated against Myxi

Re: Australia: Sydney - RVHD release
I can't believe what I've just read!!!!!
Without a doubt, some pet rabbits will die too. There will always be people who disbelieve the severity of it and/or think it'll never happen to them.
Poor bunnies, all of them.

Re: Australia: Sydney - RVHD release
Rabbits are not native to Australia. Man put them there and is now using this unspeakable method to clean up their 'mistake'. Why could they not just engineer something to make the creatures sterile that was not communicable or inhumane. Gently let the feral animals die out where they were never supposed to be anyway. Poor creatures.
And what if this virus gets out of Australia? Or should I say WHEN! Mosquitoes travel well on ships. Rabbit owners around the world should protest!
