Black Bunny
Near where we live, there's a road that goes past a new series of cul de sacs, new build houses. On the side where theres the houses, theres also a huge pond, and on the other side its grass. There is lots of wildie bunnies there, and we love watching them as we drive past. For the last 12-18 months ish, there has been a black rabbit. I have looked as closely as I can, and from what I can tell it IS a wild rabbit, it certainly doesn't look domestic. And I know you can get throwback genes, so I don't want to do anything about it, as it does look quite happy.
We always call it a he, even though we dont know obviously! Hes always easy to spot, and he loves sitting under a tree. If we havent seen him after a few of our drives down that road, me and mum get worried - but every time we always see him again. I love black bunny
When its nicer weather ill try and get a photo for you all!

Re: Black Bunny
It will be a black wildie as there are loads of black wildie's down Reeth way in North Yorkshire, originally wildies were black and in some part's of the country there are still colonies of black wildies they are quite beautiful to see.

Re: Black Bunny
Aww! I've seen a few black wildies around. For a while I used to see one on my train ride home every evening, sitting around the same little tuffet of grass in a wildy-friendly field. Haven't seen him for about a year though, it's right next to the trainline and a busy road

Re: Black Bunny
I have seen a black wildie too. At the time I wondered if it was a dumped/escaped pet but I realise now it may well have been a wildie. Would love to see a piccie, SJ.
