Hay experts prices u/d found green oat elsewhere :)
Have The Hay Experts hiked up the prices on their hay or am I going mad?
I'm sure the Burns Green Oat hay used to be £3 something and its now £4.28

I can't remember the Hay Experts price, but at our little pet shop it's always been about £4 a bag and they're pretty competitive.
I think you might be going mad. I blame Molly

I just looked up my last order (I don't know why I never thought of this last night ) and it was £3.98 in December.Sparky wrote:I can't remember the Hay Experts price, but at our little pet shop it's always been about £4 a bag and they're pretty competitive.

£4.28 for a 900g bag of hay and then £4.60 to deliver it is beyond ridiculous.
I need to find somewhere else to get it.

You need to buy in bulk - 20 bags shows a courier charge of £4.99, the same as a single bag.
Or find a little local pet shop which will order in for you, like ours does
Or try the Burns stockist finder tool on their website

I usually buy it along with megazorb etc but for some reason we're out of sync this time. I've maybe misplaced a bag or I've been feeding them more of it than usual
I actually had a look at the burns stockist finder earlier and I found a few places to phone

Are you sure they don't have a key to the hay cupboard?

I found a pet shop in the west end of the city that sells it, so we went and picked some up yesterday
And they're the kind of pet shop that doesn't sell animals
I'd love to say I came out of there with just the hay, but I'd be lying

I always intend to buy "just this" or "just that", and come out with carrier bags full. I think it's a compulsion that comes with being a bunny parent you know!
