Post by jolovesbunnies Sat Mar 01, 2014 3:42 pm

Hello friends

I am writing this to ask you for some healing vibes for my Binky-Boo. Yesterday he became lethargic, shaking and having trouble walkng. He is eating a little and drinking. Thy vet has given us panacur which i am giving once a day and he is in the quiet and the warm.

I have a very bad feeling about this; he is not even 2 and i will break my heart if I loose him. Sad

May I please have lots of loving and healing vbes? I will keep you all updated.

Love
Jo xx

Loads of vibes for Binky. Has the vet also given you some metacam Jo? Really he could do with both: panacur will treat the e.c. and the panacur deals with any pain and inflammation.

Hello my dear frends

Thank you so much for all your heart felt messages and am sorry to say that he is no better. He is eating his salad and we are syringing water but the problem seems to be with his legs, he simply cannot walk which is worrying me sick because I know how this is going to end. He hasn't had any head tilt yet which I am glad of. What puzzles me is that he is eating, surely if buns are ill that is one of the first things they stop doing. Any advice would be very welcome. I have been lying with him all morning and crying, I just cannot believe this has happened, he is only a baby and we adore him.

No Cherly love, the vet did not give us metcam but we wll get some tomorrow. Thank you again my sweeties and I will keep you updated.

Love and hugs

Don't lose hope Jo, many buns recover from E.C. with proper treatment. It just takes a little time.

I agree with Cheryl. I believe our Taffy had pretty much beaten the EC last year, and it was the complications with his digestion which he couldn't beat in the end.

We also sympathise with how incredibly distressing it is to see a bun immobile and / or very wobbly on their feet. Again with Taffy this improved very quickly once the Panacur had had a few days to start working. The first weekend of Taffy being ill was horrendous, but he did improve a lot very quickly.

As long as he is eating and drinking ok, there is plenty of hope for him.

Sending more love and hugs and noserubs and vibes, anything you or he need really  Hugs Hugs Hugs
