Re: Seb's World..
No, or at least not planning to. My parents live in Northants so we are visiting them and then on to a friend in Colchester. The friends in Felixstowe have recently moved there so we are hoping to drop in on them too.

Re: Seb's World..
I was worried about Dotty. She was making a very steady rhythmic noise.. I've been looking up what it could be? I am not sure if it was soft grinding, loud grinding.. . I left her alone for a little while, not sure if she's just worried about new surroundings. Popped out to check on her just now, all quiet and she seems to be happily dozing. Seb is doing exactly the same in his hutch. Any ideas.. do you think she's just frightened and was telling me to go away...??

Re: Seb's World..
checked on her again... she's out in the run. I've seen her munching grass and stretching and jump over her tunnel, so she must be ok. Seb's been watching her again. x I think I am worrying to much!

How funny - I wonder of you can video the noise next time it happens?

Re: Seb's World..
I will try to capture it Katie! I would be more worried if I hadn't seen her out in the run doing normal bunny things. I will be keeping a eye on her

Re: Seb's World..
It's going rather well!
As you know, Seb and Dotty were housed close together so they could see/smell each other all the time. They seemed to like each other through the mesh and spent time sitting as close to each other as possible. They would also ignore each other and go about their own business, so time to bond!
During bonding on neutral ground!
Dotty grooming Seb, Seb likes this!!
Seb and Dotty Today!
Last hurdle, is sharing a hutch tonight. It will be the first time they share a hutch overnight. They have both been ok using the run and hutch today and all the signs are good. Fingers crossed!

Re: Seb's World..
Well, sharing the old bed is the last hurdle ... it may all depend on whether there's snoring
Seriously, they look very relaxed and happy together and do make a striking couple.

All seems good this morning - both buns out early and appeared to be having fun together in the run. No signs of trouble in the hutch or with the buns! I think we may of cracked it!
Dotty does still run from Seb at times when he wants to get close, but I guess this will improve over the weeks???? Also need to remember that Dotty, in general, is still a little jumpy and does not have Seb's confidence - But we are working on it. She is still not that keen on humans, but at least she likes Seb, and Seb likes us x

Re: Seb's World..
Well done!
You are right it is likely that she will copy Seb to some extend and give her time to get to know you. Do you know anything of her past?

Re: Seb's World..
Fantastic news, am absolutely thrilled for you all
My Rosie is a 'you can look but not touch' bunny. She is eight now so is unlikely to change. However, she makes BJ happy, and that makes me happy. Watching bunnies interacting always gives me pleasure

Re: Seb's World..
That's great news. It takes a while to see the super relaxed behaviours but isn't that the same in any relationship? When I was down at Maria's rescue yesterday all the buns were out in the sun grooming each other. It was great to see.

Re: Seb's World..
Thanks Everyone!! I have seen more grooming from Dotty and Seb seems really happy. I think they make a wonderful couple and it's been fab watching them interact with each other. Over time, I cannot wait to see them become more relaxed with each other.
