Ten Years ago....

Misty, 7th June 1990 - 7th November 2005.

Just five years and six days after losing Clawed I lost you my wonderful friend. You were the greatest border collie, my dream dog and my constant companion for over fourteen years.
We went through so much together, you, me and Clawed and how I miss you both. But you, my gentle genius dog, you I miss so very much; the ache goes so deep and daily I long to have you once more by my side. Oh, how many miles did we roam together? How many miles did you chase your Frisbee?
I remember as it were yesterday the walks we took in the woods round the cottage... you, me, Clawed and that little wild doe, Bonnie. It says everything about you that a wild rabbit should hop by your side without fear. So gentle were you that Sylph, our wild muntjac friend would leave her fawns in our garden knowing they were safe with you close by.
There are so many memories and so many tears .... if I could have you by my side again.............

They are not pets, they are family and they are part of us.
