Tonight I sit alone, afraid for Henry, afraid of losing him. But that doesn't mean I have forgotten this night six years ago when I sat vigil through the long night, dreading the morning when I would have to say my final "Farewell" to you. We were together for the last time and I remember every moment so clearly. The flickering of the candle light across your face. There was you and me, alone with the candle light and the soughing of the wind in the chimney. I sang to you and waited for the laugh that never came. The dawn fell sad and I kissed you for the last time.

I will always love you.
