So she's had X-rays, teeth checked and lump removed. It's been sent off to see if it is malignant.

At the moment though I'm just so pleased to have her home safe x she seemed quite bright but has quite a wound bless her x

Fingers crossed the lump is benign. Cuddles and nose rubs to a very brave girl.

Loads of healing vibes are coming Annie's way. Manuka honey? Paddy cat's lip was a mess last year when he had a lump removed - I used Manuka honey (from the vets though it doesn't have to be) which I am sure helped it heal. In Paddy's case the lump was scar tissue from where he had put his one and only fang through his lip. I have everything crossed that Annie's lump is benign too. Loads of hugs for you Katie xx

Thanks all - she is eating fine and much brighter than she has been in a little while - so I think the lump itself must have been quite painful bless her.

I'm going to get some honey tomorrow to help the wound along..

Glad she's perking up. It takes a while to get over a GA but she has a sore nosey to poor love. Henry sends his sympathies, his nose was very sore after the endoscopy.

John called.  The lump was a cancerous tumour.

The cancer cells were found in the edge of it and so she will still have them.  It's likely that the tumour will re-grow and spread through her body.

I'm devastated.

Poor little Annie. 
Did John mention any prognosis time wise and what treatment options there are?
It is the saddest moment and I remember when they called and gave me Bertie's result it felt like a hole opened in the ground and I fell.
