Charlie is Poorly
I have told Buddabun that he is a poorly boy. Basically I noticed that he was losing a bit of weight recently. However he is eating fine. Yesterday he had a strange twitch in his right side of his head and it went on for about 6 hours???? I@ rubbed his ears and eyes but ikt didn't help. So we have been to the vets. Now Charlie has a habit of sitting in his litter tray and being a white bun this is a pain as he ends up with yellow feet. However it loks like he also has the start of sme urinary incontinence too. So he is on Panacur, Baytril and a barrier cream for his legs and bottm. In have to bathe him every day and apply the cream. Also got to bleach hutch and run and give a course f panacurn to Jack and Brian too. So I have come home with a lot of bags of meds and a bill for Helen! ! Just bathed poor Charlie. He has been so good. So well behaved.
To top it all as I tried to get to the vets the traffic was backed up and it turns out that some lad has thrown himself of one of the main bridges in town. Lincoln is only a small city and thus at a total stand still. So we had to park streets and streets away frm vets and walk there to the heckle of "rabbit pie". So I have dealt out more expletives in last hour than I have in my entire life.

Re: Charlie is Poorly
Oh dear.
They think it's EC then? Lets hope we've caught it in time if it is.
Will transfer the money for the bill across as soon as the net lets me on NatWest.
Lots of vibes coming your way from a very worried mummy (and Daddy when he gets home from work...)

Well the symptoms do fit with EC and its good that he is also on Baytril to cover him for any bacterial involvement.
The symptoms that occur as a result of EC are caused be inflammation that results when the EC spores erupt into the Central Nervous System, Kidney etc. An anti-inflammatory can be helpful

Re: Charlie is Poorly
Charlie is doing well. Took his bath well last night and had to stay in til he was dry. So I brought them all in and they had the run of the back room. Brian decided he liked a teddy so sat with his feet on it for most of evening, :luv:
