Re: Think I am losing Rory ud He is back from the vets
Does anyone know if it would be safe to give him a bit of infacol at this time. I am wondering now if he may have tummy ache. Its the only ever time I have known him not to eat his food. I have just give him a tummy massage ad he only ever lets me do that when his tummy hurts. He has had Panacur earlier and I put some bio powder in his drink but he wont touch it so have given him a clean batch.
What do you think?

I'm so sorry I only just saw this, Poor little angel. This is just the hardest thing, especially not knowing whats wrong. I have seen myself a bun disappear into nothing & it is truly heartbreaking when you just love them so so very much. Do you trust your vet? Sounds like it could be worth changing? I would probably ask for full bloods to be done, Not sure if that would help but it could possibly lead to some diagnosis. I would personally try the infacol, what other meds is he on? Dont do it on my advice though, please wait til someone more knowledgable comes along. Sending lots of positive strong thoughts to you & Rory xxx

will Rory sip cooled peppermint tea? that may soothe his tummy and I cant see why infacol would cause any issues or good old fashioned gripe water or perhaps get him to nibble some dill?

Re: Think I am losing Rory ud He is back from the vets
Hello all.
Thanks for all your messages. Not been on for a while as I have been so worried about my little man. He went a few days without eating anything, I tried him on allsorts. Eventually I saw some weeds (dandilions) in the garden and thought that might be worth a go. He loved them and ate loads ut they gave him the runs. Anyway, I think having runs did him good as he is now eating and even jumped at the bars for his breakfast this morning. I think (dare I say it) that his is finally getting back to his old self. Cant help but thinking he is milking it a bit though. I heard him eating earlier and when I went to watch him he moved away and put him head down!
