A bit of a scare
I was away for the weekend and when I came home on Sunday, OH said he thought Wolfie was a bit quiet. I went out to see him and he wasn't interested in food and was just sitting in his box. Alarm bells started ringing and he was brought into the house. It had been really warm over the weekend and I think he was dehydrated although there was plenty of water available. They are also moulting so think it might have been a hair problem. Managed to get some water down him by syringe - which he absolutely loathed. I have never seen such fury in a small rabbit's face. Was very grateful that the sharp bits of him were bundled up in a towel because he really wanted to go into driller killer mode. I could tell!!! Left him overnight with some bits of brocolli and a little grass in his hay and were rewarded with some wet newspaper and about 20 poos. He was also looking brighter before he was left overnight. If the carrier was opened he was popping up to look and periscoping so felt he was probably feel better.
He's back outside now and completely back to normal which is a massive relief.

Glad to hear Wolfie is back to normal
Have you learnt your lesson - not to abandon him again!

Re: A bit of a scare
I know it was very remiss of me to go away and leave him in the tender care of my OH. They are a right pair of divas. Every time I go away, they have a wee strop because something is different! Honestly!
