well there home and snowflake has just nibbled on some parsley but spike is not happy at all,shes got the face on right lol shes not had anything to eat yet,ive tried fresh grass,danderlions,parsley and shes turned her nose up,iam hoping she will eat something very soon. They also said to keep them apart for 5 days,so they dont try and lick each others stitches,so ive put some wire between them

jo- they dont like carrots,they must be something wrong with them lol

don't worry females take much longer to recover! id just leave them be, but it will defiantly take spike a good 2/3 days longer than snowflake to recover! they will just want to sleep i reckon! i didn't see any droppings from buttons in the 1st 24hours so don't worry too much, he was quite reluctant to eat too (unusual for a male!) but he eventually went for the hay in his own time! maybe just sit by their pen's and talk to them, just to reassure them they are home and safe! (just don't try handling them for a few days, especially spike!)

Buttons loves his carrots! in fact he gets very protective of them!!!

He is gorgeous Lizzi, thankyou for a stunning video. He is very covetous with his carrot, running around, wondering where to take it.

omg,that video is so funny,buttons is and thank you,the vet just told me to get them to eat as soon as poss' at least i wont worry as much now,good job i have this place

I hoped that video would make you smile!!! Try not to worry too much!!! Buttons seemed to take ages to recover after getting done, but as you can see from the video he is well and truly back to normal!!!

Lizzi that video was brilliant, made me laugh at how Buttons ran away with carrot but sharp came back once it had gone

spike has done 6 poo's and drunk a little water but hardly anything to eat,snowflake has done no poo's but a wee and she has had a little to eat but no water lol ,there both flaked out,spike is on one of those vetbeds and snowflake is on a flectabed which also helps to keep her warm,they both look so sad but iam so glad there home

eta-spike has had a danderlion

Rosie had stitches in her bottom lip as well as being spayed, so our Humum was quite worried about her eating the first day she was home. She had a selection of bowls to choose from with pellets, soggy pellets and veggies in as well as hay in her litter tray but still only ate a teeny bit the first day.

Five days on and she's back to trying to eat the wallpaper

Awww, how come i didnt see this! We could have compared notes!

Sending lots of vibes to you and the bunsters, i know how your feeling! Dolly almost went to the emergency vet after not eating for almost 3 days, but she made a miraculous recovery all of a sudden!

Im sure they will both be back to normal and causing havvock in no time at all! xxxx

how are they doing today?

there doing good and snowflake has poo in her side of the cage so iam really happy about that,ive put some pics of them in the photoshoot yesterday,spike was been naughty yesterday so shes well on the way to recovery

iam going to let them out when the kids are in bed,had guests round so couldnt let them out,i did some of them bunny biscuits,spike loved them,snowflake turned her nose up at them,she hasnt forgiven me yet
