Oh no Katie - I can't believe this. I don't understand why all these bad things have to happen to such good people. Your buns get the best care possible, so why you?
I am sending so much hope that it is a mis-diagnosis. They are all in the best hands with JC though.
A million vibes for Daisy, Annie and Charlie headed your way, as well as a ton of hugs to you

Fingers crossed Katie. As I said before, if it is myxi and she is vaccinated then hopefully she will only get the Myxi light disease and will recover.

I'm waiting to heat what JC says about this. Y'all seem to have great opinions of the gentleman and he's certainly taken excellent care of many HH bunnies!
Still pacing and waiting for any news.

Yes I hope the news is good but I think if it was Katie would have let us know, she certainly doesn't deserve all this

Re: What is this? - UD Annie doing well....
Hi all,
I'm so sor ry for worrying you all - we got stuck in traffic on the way back from Johns and didn't get home til late, by wfhich time I just had a good cry and went to bed.
The god news is John doesn't think it is Myxi !!!!!! So I am keeping a close eye on them. However, Annie doesn't seem to keen on her breakfast this morning ( an though this could be a protest)
I didn't hear a thing from the hospital yesterday - I rang the neurology dept at the hospital and they had never heard of the neurologist I saw! They think she may have been some kind of locum!!!!!!
So basically I am on noones list, no ones radar, and unless this woman logs into the hospitals system, no one is looking for my results!
I have booked an appointment to see a consultant at bupa but due to Christmas cannot see me until the 8th of jan.
I know I keep saying it, but I cannot believe all this is happening. I want to curl up in a ball and wake up when it is over.
I'm going to my gp this morning and the I am going to camp out at the hospital to see if someone there can help. This is appalling!
On top of that I didn't sleep a wink last night for worrying about my little girl.

Katie just keep hassling the hospital. If you make enough of a nuisance of yourself they will see you properly. And specify that you want to be able to see one of their regular doctors.

Re: What is this? - UD Annie doing well....
That's good news that the vet think's it's not Myxi.
I have put this link on as you can see why I thought it may be rabbit syphilis, hope you are not offended as when you mention the word 'syphilis' in rabbits to some people they are shocked but rabbit's get it and it's easily treated. http://www.medirabbit.com/EN/Skin_diseases/Bacterial/Syph_gen.html
As for the hospital...that's disgusting! they shouldn't mess around with people's lives this way. You need to be seen and need to be seen now and they should know that and should care.
I'm sorry Katie that at this time of the year when you should be looking forward to Christmas you have all this upset and worry, I hope the dam hospital get's their finger out and does what they are suppose to do...help you!

Re: What is this? - UD Annie doing well....
Such a relief that JC doesn't think it is myxi Herbie developed syphilis about six months after getting him. It cleared up very quickly - he needed three penicillin injections a week apart.
As for the news about you, that is absolutely atrocious. I so hope your GP has managed to sort something out.
Huge hugs coming your way. I hope you get some good news very very soon xxxxxx

I'm so relieved to hear it's not Myxi. Mojo's homechecker mentioned someone mistaking Syphilis for Myxi in their bun, too
As for the hospital, it is absolutely disgusting. They HAVE to get you seen to. It was THEIR mistake. Ridiculous
Sending you so much love, vibes and hugs. You really don't need any of this - and at Christmas, as well

I'm so glad JC thinks it's not myxi. I hope it clears up soon and gives you one less thing to worry about. I assume the other two got a clean bill of health?
I'm both cross and sorry about the way you are being treated by the hospital. Perhaps you should phone an ambulance and claim you've collapsed I hope you have got somewhere today, wouldn't it be nice to think someone cared enough to try to help...
Lots of these anyway

Re: What is this? - UD Annie doing well....
Annabelle is doing really well - Im keeping a close eye on her (spending a lot of time watching her every move through the window) but she seems reasonably bright.
Neither her or Charlie are really themselves but I cleaned out their shed yesterday and they had two trips to two vets too, so Im hoping its because they are just feeling unsettled. They also both still have mites, as John wanted me to settle them down for a couple of days before treating them.
Fingers crossed that this continues.
Also have hospital news - will post in members lounge.
Once again hoppers, your support is amazing and has been making such a difference to me.
Thank you x

Re: What is this? - UD Annie doing well....
I'm ECSTATIC about Annie not having Myxi! Top up vibes for her. As far as her not eating, she had a trip to the vet and that is always upsetting.
And sending vibes and hugs for you too! I too know the frustration with the doctors and hospitals. I STILL don't know of I'm having my knee replacement Thursday. The urine test was run last Wed. and there has been more than enough time to tell if I have a UTI. We can't make any plans and with my health right now doing anything takes planning. Even things as simple as getting in my wheelchair takes 10 min of preparation. Once again I'm getting my stuff again to go to the hospital and also pack a bag for the rehab facility. Will I be in the hospital for Christmas? The rehab center? Home with post-op home care? Or like I am right now...laying in bed hurting so bad I can't stop crying?
Ba! Humbug!
I'm usually an extremely positive bubbly person...a real 'Miss Merry Sunshine' Today is :/
I hope you feel better very soon Katie and that they find your records(and your doc) and get you better!
