Helens Eye/ E.Cuniculi/ UD Friday P12 :-)
I have took photo's of her eye so that we can compare it in a couple of days and see how it is looking then . So I shall use this thread to post how she is doing and post further photo's of her eye in days to come. It can be her progress thread.
The green is the dye that they put in her eye.
We have them both in an indoor cage in the back room for the night with her being so wobbly. We shall sit up and watch her to make sure she comes round ok.

although it is upsetting, having a photo helps other people to know what to watch out for. Hope the meds kick in soon.

Oh the poor sweetheart, that looks a really nasty ulcer (I am a non-practising optician). I hope the meds kick in really soon. It is so unfair given the other problems that Helen has. Am sending masses of healing vibes xxx

Re: Helens Eye/ E.Cuniculi/ UD Friday P12 :-)
Update 18th Jan Friday. Day 2.
Helen is still a bit drowsy but more alert she has had some of her meds this morning and I have just took another photo and now that the dye has gone you can clearly see the ulcer on her eye.
Looking at her I am almost sure it is e.cuniculi
She is being a very good and brave little bunny as if she knows we are trying to get her better.

I love the look on her face in the last one, 'What, me? This is nothing, you should have seen the other three guys when I finished with them.'
I hope she is feeling ok. I had no idea E.C could cause something like that.

It's early day's yet but Mike and I both think it could be e.cuniculi but we are hoping for her sake and Baby Saint's as she will have it to , that it isn't .

Re: Helens Eye/ E.Cuniculi/ UD Friday P12 :-)
Helen and Baby Saint also love Burns Green Oat hay as Mike who has been sleeping on the sofa the last two night's next to their indoor cage said all he could hear last night was Helen and Baby Saint nomming the hay
They are going back in their own play pen tonight as an indoor cage isn't ideal for them both especially Baby Saint with her sticking out disabled leg Bless her.

Her eye doesn't look as swollen and she seems a lot more alert I'm glad to say. The vet said the more times we can put the eye drops in the better for her so Mike is putting them in like 6 times a day its Fucithalmic eye drop's and both Helen and Baby Saint are on panacur.
Helens also on Baytril and Metacam.
