Why do buns think we punish them?
Bruce was determined that I was punishing them rather than just keeping them in out of the driving rain. So when I snuck out to put some washing in the dryer Bruce slipped past me into the garden where he stayed for about an hour. He could not be persuaded to come back in even with the promise of crunchies.
Look at the state of him.
And then when he came in I took the opportunity to use his wetness to get rid of some moult and he was not happy about that either.

They do thik you are punsihng them when you are not indeed. I keep the bathroom doo0r shut sp Dougal cannot get in , so when I pened his gate yesterday and he knows I have been shutting him out the bathrrom , well that morning I forgot to shut it and he just ran in like he knew and he was determined to stay in and hop behind the bog, whcih is not really somewhere I want him, but he kept insisiting and when I managed to chase him most the way out he went back. It is like he is thinking I am keeping the door shut to be mean and punish him so when he spots ot open if I forget he hops in fast.

He couldn't let the pruning get out of hand however much it was raining, you know. And that 'moult' as you call it is exactly what has kept him all warm and dry underneath

Re: Why do buns think we punish them?
I have given him a good brush now. It had to be done as for some reason he had hay coming out of both ears. The neighbours were firing up their noisy smelly car in the garage earlier so I think he was trying to protect his ears. How they don't pass out with the car fumes in the garage is beyond me as outside stunk of petrol.
