Iv been wondering how I should worm my buns.
Is routinely the best idea?
I did use ivomec last year and seemed to work well.

I have guinea pigs aswell, and I know they are completely different but my pigs get routinely wormed with ivomec and panacur alternatly every 3 months [ivomec then 3months later panacur etc etc] & I wondered if this is a good idea for the buns aswell?
And if so, how much??

Any help much appriciated xxx

I don't routinely de-mite or worm my rabbits against intestinal parasites unless they are presenting with a problem. Intestinal worms are actually very rare in rabbits and it's normal for their to be a small level of mites on the surface of the skin, they tend to only become a problem when the rabbit's immune system has been weakened.

Worming against Encephalitozoon Cuniculi on the other hand, is a totally different matter, and one that changes every single day at the moment!
