Vibes for Bertie - UD he's gone :(

Jay ive shed a few tears twice today, I just can only compare youre feelings to myself when i lost Peanut and its just the rawness of it all, and i just know how awful you are feeling and how much i wish i could take it away

Bertie was so lucky to have you both he honestly was, i loved his videos so much, there isnt one i havent sat and watched.

I don't know how I managed to miss this thread last night, so I was totally unaware that Bertie was ill. It was a terrible shock when I read Charlotte's thread on this being a sad day for HH. Roger and I will always treasure the memory of the time we met Bertie, when we dropped Becky off at yours after the Watership Down picnic. He was really special. I know you are both absolutely devastated. Roger and I send you both lots of love and hugs and sincere condolences. x

I'm so very sorry Time does start to make things a bit less raw, although you will obviously still miss Bertie deeply.

Jay, I've posted in the members forum as well, but I just wanted to say here as well how heartbroken we all are here for you. If there's anything at all I can do, please please just call anytime.

Bertie was so precious, his videos and photos have picked me up when I've been at my very lowest, and were a great comfort when I lost Truffles. He will be remembered here always, I promise you that.

Jay I am so sorry to hear the news about Bertie I've been away for a bit and was just shocked when I came on here this morning. I can't even imagine how you and Paul are feeling right now. I wish there was something I could do to help.

Oh Jay, I'm so sorry, Theo kept me up to date over the phone, but this is the first chance I've had to get on-line since. This really is the saddest possible news, and I wish I could say something to make it easier and better for you and Paul. Bertie was indeed a very special bunny, and I know you must both be totally devastated, and are in our thoughts and prayers.

I know from the phone call I had how you and Bertie fought to get through Saturday evening.
Just so sorry that he decided that he's had enough and wanted to go and play with the other rabbits he'd heard about, that are now living at Rainbow bridge.

Absolutely devastated for you Jay He was in the most possible best care, and was showered with love. I just cannot tell you how upset I am to hear about this. He was such a special little bun and he will always be in out hearts.
