Really worried and angry! Empty Really worried and angry!

Post by Indie22 Sat Dec 04, 2010 7:04 pm

Today at work my dog dissapeared through the back shop and literally exploded with dihorrea (sp) he would never go unless urgent and no choice, poor lad though he was in big trouble, that from a large shepherd isnt easy to clean. Because of the unusual colour and smell he was taken immediately to the vet. The vet believes he may have been poisoned. Hes got a whole mix of tablets to take this week and no food for a good while. When we thought about it hes been bringing things down from the top of the garden and eating them, i presumed its ice because he gets ice to play with in summer. Turns out another dog up the street has major dihorea so they are going to contact the vets asap. We had a look in the garden but its dark and theres some thick black plastic bits that are half way in the snow so must have been thrown in! Really worried as theres no way my rabbits can go out and thank got I havnt taken my eyes off them in the snow and they havnt gone right up there. Woody should be ok but brings back so much anger as my horse was poisoned and killed and thats very raw!! If it is that how do I know when its safe to let them out.

just really annoyed because if my rabbits ate anything they could have died at least woody is a big dog therefore a lot easier to treat and its picked up on quick.

I know of an individual who would but that wouldnt explain the other dog up the road if its linked. Its possible someones targeted the street.

That is an awful thing to do. Why on earth do people think its ok to target animals?

I hope Woody recovers quickly.

He wasnt allowed tee or breakfast and we had to leave him home while at work but my dad came down the road to let him out but he has only peed so we gave him half his normal serving and we will see how he goes, he was exhausted so much last night, barely got up and he is a pacey dog but brighter today.
