You stay strong. You are doing the best for these animals. We all have wobbly moments. You will feel better once this is over.

We will be here to support and help you learn how to look after Isabelle and Jack. Hugs Hugs

What you are proving to us is that you are a responsible bunny owner, and we all understand how hard this is for you. You are doing the best for these three girls and you are doing your best for isobelle and Jack. Its very brave and we will all respect you for it.

The buns will always owe you a debt for putting them first and will be grateful to you forever.

Perhaps you should think of this as a rescue - you rescued and then passed the buns on to safety. Thats what rescuers do. So dont be sad. Be proud of yourself.

I bet your Husband will be happier without having to worry about the cost of the vacs and stuff too.

Stay strong

Katie
[b]Im not a rescue i'm pathetic. You have no idea. I don't deserve anything. I don't want respect or friendship, it's a nice thought but I don't deserve it. I love animals so much and i've skrewed up and now Jay hates me too and I don't hate him, or mean to annoy him. I feel awful and I just joined to do the best thing for my animals. i'm such a skrew up

We don't hate you at all. We were pretty frustrated by you, but only because we were concerned for the animals AND FOR YOU TOO!

Everyone gets a bit out of their depth but it takes a lot of guts to own up the that and put it right. You are gaining my respect by facing up to this.

My husband is going to take them in a taxi to a rescue we've fouond. Unfortunately they'll be in a dog rescue for tonight but tomorrow they'll be going to a nice animal shelter, where they can get them better and look after them more than I can....

And to make this harder, Hazel just binkied :'( x

Awhh don't look it at like that, she binkied because she's happy, but that just means they are on the road to improvement and they will be even happier when they have the proper care the shelter can give them. You have been key in helping these rabbits have an improved life and although at first misguided you are doing the right thing now Smile

Jay doesnt do hate Lexy. He just wanted to make you see that the buns needed to be put first.

And thats what you are doing now, so if you joined the site to improve the life of animals that is exactly what you are doing by re-homing these buns.

I know its hard....but remember that you are doing a brilliant thing for them.

Nobody hates you, the only reason this is so "big" is because it was rehoming them, then not, and obviously people post in order to help persuade you that this isnt right so the post counts go up and it seems huge but it isnt.... at the end of the day you took on some buns in need and now they are going to go somewhere where they will find an excellent home and you can make Jack and Isobelles home fabulous.

We all get out of our depth, you saw my post - I didnt go about things the right way and I had to learn, quick and fast and it cost me alot of money. Nobody is perfect, and we dont expect you to be.

I'm very happy for the buns, and I have a lot of respect for you for putting them first. Thank-you for being honest about your situation, we are a very helpful and supportive community, and had you been honest with us all along it needn't have come to all this upset, that said, no-one's perfect, and tyhere is no reason for you to speak in the terms you have about yourself.

I'm sure you've experienced situations where you just cannot get through to someone, it's frustrating and things get said that perhaps could have been worded better.

I do not hate you, and I do resent that the comment about not hearing from you again is taken totally out of context, and was part of a response to you telling me to leave you and your rabbits alone and not to talk to you.

I have spent the last 3 days in PM contact with you to help you, and I hope that you will continue to Pm me or anyone on this forum if you need help with your buns.

I know this is hard for you, but you, your hubby, your two buns and the three that are going to better homes will ALL be happier for this I promise you. I hope we can draw a line under this now, and let us get your two gorgeous buns sorted and you all happy eh Smile

I've followed all the goings on the last couple of days. You have totally made the right decision for yourself, husband, your own buns and the buns you have rescued and set on their way to a new fabulous life. I know this has been hard for you and you have had to hear some quite harsh things but I honestly think you have shown how responsible you are. I understand where your dilemma has been and it's something every fosterer goes through but the testament to good ownership is to know your limits. Thumbs Up

Oh right, sorry I thought you were keeping them or looking for somewhere fore them to go, I was moving some of mine around so as I could help out and maybe take them here but if they are already in a rescue then that's great, trust me you have done the right thing for the bunnies, which rescue have they gone to?

Of course you are not a dangerous owner, you are very naive when it comes to looking after bunnies but you will learn and you have to learn that you can't rescue every bunny that you see, it breaks my heart too and I have been doing this for 5 years but it still hurts,

In fact I think you have been very sensible and listened to what people have said and at last you have taekn their advice....well done! Very Happy
