Re: Felix has an abscess
My vets sell Bio-Lapis which comes in sachets, always found that good too and both mine loved it, just sprinkled on food. I have bought Pro-C from p@h before, but neither really took to it.

Re: Felix has an abscess
He's doing really well. Takes his injections like a man and doesn't struggle. His lumps under his jaw have gone down slightly, but I intend to take him back to the vet once his ABX is finished and just see what things are like.
In himself, he is absolutely fine. Eating, peeing and pooing as normal. Quite happy although a little concerned when he sees me now!
Probably have another week of Septrin to go and need to go to the vets for more needles. They did suggest I could use the needles twice, but I would prefer to be completely aseptic with them and only use them once.
Injecting is a fairly simple process as long as you are calm, have a docile rabbit and take your time. The first time is a bit nerve-wrecking but as you do it more often it definitely gets easier and the process smoother. I don't seem to have hurt him at all as he doesn't flinch as the needle goes in and doesn't seem too traumatised afterwards - well only a little.

Re: Felix has an abscess
Hi guys, he is still fine. Have had no problems with him having two lots of ABX. He is just the same as usual and is so good when I take him to jab him. He just sits still and lets me get on with it. If it was Wolfie I would be covered in scars by now and shredded to pieces. I dread the day HE gets ill!!!
