Feeling bad :(
The discharge note I got when I collected Junior after his neuter says he needs to have cage/pen rest for a few days but I'm feeling so bad
He's as bright as a button and wants out. Plus, I have to let Molly out because she's like a caged lion/coiled spring
Would it be wrong of me to let him out for a while?

Re: Feeling bad :(
Our boys just spent the one night in as far as I remember, then were back outside and back to normal. Girls were kept confined for longer, but then they took longer to want to be active.
Except me
I had to be let out the next day, as I was calmer chilling out behind the sofa than rampaging round my pen in a strop

Re: Feeling bad :(
I would keep in in overnight then let him out as usual the next day. This is what I did with both Vince and Boo and they were just fine, as if nothing had happened!

Re: Feeling bad :(
No let him have cage rest because if he runs about or even try's to hump Molly he may do himself some harm. We usually give boys cage rest for 3 days to give the stitches chance to heal and the girls the same.

Re: Feeling bad :(
Thanks guys. We came to a compromise and I let him walk around their room while I swept the pen out
He and Molly have to be kept separate anyway so they're having to come out in shifts. It's exhausting work trying to stop them getting too close

When we had Grace and her 5 children neutered and spayed it was like a maternity ward we had all the indoor cages in a row with them all in, I felt like a nurse doing the rounds
