Taffy has EC - U/D 29/03 - he's gone

Thanks peeps, he is nice and stable - eating *just* enough for himself, taking his meds like a good boy and having a hop round the office in the evening. That's good enough for me for now

Any news on Taffy? What did the vet say?

He's lost a teeny bit of weight - nothing to panic about yet but he really can't afford to lose any more. But his eating is improving a little day by day so Humum is hoping he will be at least stable now.

Other than that, he's quite bright. He's got better toilet control so is not constantly wet, smelly and sore. Plus he is cleaning himself which is good.

He had a good run round the room at the vets, although he doesn't do that so much at home - Humum has to annoy him until he hops away. He is less wobbly, he just needs to start getting more exercise to make sure he doesn't get more muscle loss in his back legs. Humum will make him a bigger pen tomorrow and be able to put things in it to be more interesting for him.

So, more food, a bit more exercise and plenty of love and hopefully we can pull him through this

Good to read such a positive update. I can imagine how devastating it must be when they have loss of mobility then don't want to eat, he really does sound to be doing well and making great improvement.

We love Taffy!

I never doubted Taffy wouldn't get better as he is a little fighter and with two amazing huparents to look after him ........

So glad he is doing so well
