She does yes, if she wasn't then I'd take her to the vet, but she is generally fine. She spent a lot of time on her wheel in the night, and is eating. She's just bitey, which she never has been, and sleeping more - although Leah always did like her bed!

She's off tonight for a mini break with the other two, so my robo-expert may well be able to give me her verdict. Leah is a stress head, and I only want to take her to the vet when it's completely necessary, it would do her more harm than good. I obviously do feel very bad about this, but I don't think it would help right now. If she wasn't wheeling then I would take her, but she can't be in too much pain if she's on there.

Don't feel bad for making a decision not to take her to the vet, sometimes that is exactly the right decision to make and only you can judge that.

Ok so I took the trio to my robo-expert friend last night.

Leah had a really thorough health check, and she also has a lump on her chest. However, and it is a big however, my friend said that she looks amazingly well. She said Leah isn't in any great pain, the sand showers are really helping her and she's looks like a hammy contented robo She did say that you can't tell how aggressive the tumours are, and more may come up or these may grow quickly, but right now Leah is doing fantastically

Carla has asked me to update this thread for her.

Unfortunately Leah had a stroke on Friday while she was staying with Carla's robo expert friend (Carla has been away for the weekend). She appears to be recovering but she's on borrowed time Her friend is amazed she survived and was expecting to have to take her to be pts at the emergency vet.

More vibes needed for Leah (and Carla) please.

Thanks everyone, and thank you Thumper for posting the update, I was in bits last night.

I've got Bluebells owner coming here shortly, and then we're off to our robo-expert friend together, for her to triple check the sex of the ambiguous pups, and for me to pick up the trio.

Leah was very very poorly, she couldn't open her eyes, move, eat or drink by herself. I will be forever grateful to my friend for hand feeding Leah food and water. I am slightly concerned about bringing Leah home, in case the stress of the journey upsets her, so I will see how she is. She has improved, and has been pottering around, but she's struggling by the sound of it. What is desperately sad is on the way to drop them off on Thursday Leah was on her wheel for most of the journey. That night my friend text me saying that Leah seemed really content despite the two lumps, then the following day this happened.

I will update more once I see her later. It sounds as if this was a second stroke, because she was wobbly before and couldn't get up but I related it to the lump on her spine, but it sounds now like it was a minor stroke, and now she's had a major one. They've happened in the space of 2-3 weeks, so the worry is another one very soon will finish her off.

My friend is amazed she survived Friday night, and was expecting to take her to the vet on Saturday. But she's a fighter and is fighting it.

Leah is now home, and my trio are now a quad but I'll do another thread about that.

It was a shock to see her, and she's better than she was apparently!! She's wonky, very tired, can only manage soft food, and is just generally looking a bit sorry for herself. She's settled down to sleep, and will be back in my room tonight.

I don't think she's going to be here for much longer. I really weighed up the risk of potentially stressing her out by moving her, but wanting her here should anything happen. But I decided that I wanted her here, and in all honesty if something was going to happen chances are it would happen if I drove her home or not. She wasn't stressed by the journey there, she was in her wheel for most of it, and still became ill. It's just one of those things.
