Well, it was really late last night and neither had eaten, Bobbin wouldn't leave Roo's side, I have put some carrot and curly kale in and a bit later I went in and Bobbin nudged Roo towards the food and Roo ate a small bit of the kale!! :luv:
This morning I went in and they are both munching on the pellets, she looks much brighter today

Jay, if he was strong enough to move the dish that's what he would be doing, he is a real sweetheart, they are such a lovely couple, it's really lovely to see them together :luv:

Bless them :luv: I think there's something wrong with my rabbit, he won't be a pair, he's a confirmed batchelor, but I keep seeing buns I wanna bring homeSnowy wrote:Jay, if he was strong enough to move the dish that's what he would be doing, he is a real sweetheart, they are such a lovely couple, it's really lovely to see them together :luv:

Oh Jay! there's nothing wrong with Bertie, he's gorgeous!!, actually I am sure that some bunnies don;t want partners and want to stay single particularly if they have a human bond, I have bunnies that just wont bond as well

You are the other half of his pair Jay :luv: Clearly for him there are no buns that can compete with your sexyness!

Re: Roo In For Spay Today U/D HOME!! :D
We've been for a post op check with Paula and it's bad news Thea, I am really sorry but Paula is keeping them in for a month and then they are coming home to me and to make sure that they are OK I am keeping them for a further 3 months and then to be doubly sure that they are OK I will probably keep them for another month, during that time Paula wants to see them twice a week for extra cuddles, then we will review the situation!

Glad it went well. I bet you can't wait to get them both home. I'm waiting for Bella and Tarquin to come home from their holiday today - I can't believe how empty the house feels without bunnies in it

Re: Roo In For Spay Today U/D HOME!! :D
I know it feels so strange without them here Theo has promised that I can come get them tonight, even if she and Paula threaten to keep them
Re: Roo In For Spay Today U/D HOME!! :D
They are home!!!!
Theo has looked after them brilliantly and they both look so healthy. Roo is making an excellent recovery and her wound is healing nicely.
They are currently chilling out between nibbles of hay, pellets and curly kale
Bobbin is not so happy though as he broke a nail while we were getting him into the carrier I think it's come clean off, bleeding has stopped though and he's cleaned it. I'm going to leave it so as not to stress him more, but right now if you didn't know better you'd think it was Bobbin that had an op!
Thank you for all the well wishes I'm so happy to have them home.... my babies :luv: :luv:
