outdoor rabbits- kept outdoors?
Hello,
new to this and just had a question for when we are away, we are going to keep our rabbits outdoors most of the time
I have looked at a couple of boarding places and some offer hire of a room/ indoor accomodation. Was thinking would this be okay? as I thought they would be more comfortable? or is it best to have them in a similar environment to home?
Thanks

Re: outdoor rabbits- kept outdoors?
I think it would be best to keep them in the same climate they are used to. it's not as important during the summer months as the temp change is less extreme but if the boarding places offer outside accomodation your bunsters might feel more 'at home' so to speak. where abouts in the country are you? There might be some recommended boarding places in your area:)

Re: outdoor rabbits- kept outdoors?
we have our indoor boarding room but we do sometimes have people hire it out for outdoors bunnies and we just dont do heating, so its the same temperature as being outdoors as its an outhouse.
Its 7 foot x 4 foot so its nice and big, and some people do have it so there bun has a luxury holiday!
but they would certainly be okay in a hutch outside like normal, its more the temperature you want to keep the same
