WANTED: Lino/Vinyl Flooring
Just thought it might be worth asking you guys if you have or can get hold of some lino for free or pretty cheap. Local shops are either all out of off cuts or asking silly prices. Ive looked on ebay too and its getting on to £40!
I need to put lino down in the new playhouses when they arrive, figured it would be better to lay it when building it this time! They are 4ft x 4ft so would need 2 pieces this size.
Please let me know if you have some/know where i can get some.

We got our's from Richmond and we said it was for our rabbits and he sold us some off cut really cheap. I think it was from Calverts. He is very good with us. I think we paid £20 for our's.

Re: WANTED: Lino/Vinyl Flooring
I got my last bit from Calverts. It was 6x3 and she didnt charge me anything 'because it was Christmas'. I might go back and see if they have anything. Other than that though, everywhere near me is really expensive.
I dont get any days off to go to car bootys

Re: WANTED: Lino/Vinyl Flooring
We got ours from B&M Home Bargains - a bit the size you need to cut in half to make 2 off 4 x 4 pieces would be about £15. Not all the B&M stores carry lino though - we got ours in Skipton...

Re: WANTED: Lino/Vinyl Flooring
We brought some of the lino squares that come in packs of four from poundland and then duct taped them all together on the back ..... works pretty much the same at a low cost if you cant get any anywhere else

Re: WANTED: Lino/Vinyl Flooring
I bought some of them before and didnt like them. They start to lift up over time, and the buns dont like to hop on them, they arent very non-slip.

Re: WANTED: Lino/Vinyl Flooring
I agree, but we got some of the sticky carpet squares to put over the top for non slip patches, and there are fleece blankets on that. Other than that my only advice would be a off cut from a carpet shop .... sometimes they odd shapes they cant sell and you may be able to get them cheepr

Re: WANTED: Lino/Vinyl Flooring
Ill have a wander down to Calverts Carpets next time i get chance at college and see if they have anything. If not - The playhouses are only 4x4, it wont take much paint to do the floor so its easy to clean, and once ive got the litter tray in, door mat and hidey house, i doubt there will be much uncovered floor!!!
