Vibes for Pepsi Please/ UD 'Cancer'..being PTS :-(

Well he's done some more poop's today not great looking but he did some, he's also been fighting the syringe tonight at feeding time so that's a good sign and then he had a wash after which is another good sign so we think he is getting a wee bit stronger but he is not out of the woods yet so we are just taking each day as it comes. Took some photos of him tonight for you all.

Mike always tuck's them under his jacket to syringe feed tiny buns as they seem to feel so much more secure .

Pepsi seems to be improving although he still is not eating for himself he seems more brighter and looking much more alert

Pepsi was breathing rapidly Mike has rushed him to the Emergency vet's

Please don't let me lose him as well

Mike has just rang me he's on his way home.....with Pepsi

Pepsi has a slight chest infection and the vet has given him zantac and a Vetergesic Injection and he has
to go back to our own vet tomorrow.

I can't begin to tell you how relieved we are as we thought we were losing him.

Sending chest healing vibes to Pepsi. At least you know what's wrong now

Pepsi is breathing quite bad with the chest infection but we are doing all we can for him and keeping him warm. The emergency vet last night said we had to take him to our vet's today but we have decided that we would rather keep him in the warm and not put him through more stress of a 40 minute car journey. Mike has rang the vet's this morning and asked if we could have some injectable vetergesic and they said we could and so Mike has just gone down to collect it.
The emergency vet's last night cost altogther £140 , £120 of that was after hour's charges and consultation but what can you do when your bunny is ill you have it to do and we needed to know what was wrong so we could try and fix it.
He is still not eating by himself so on top of his GI stasis he has now a chest infection and we now have to make sure that it doesn't lead to pneumonia
