Re: Daisy's Abscess Diary UD IMPROVEMENT? p16x
Well Ive spoken to Mrs Chitty this morning who thinks that he may be in pain because the pain killer is not being absorbed properly, due to his tummy not working properly. Which makes sense as his poo's are tiny.
As I was talking to her on the phone telling her how poorly he is today, he came running into the living room and starting binkying about. .
Hes also just munched some carrot top and some hay. He looks a poorly boy bless him, his eyes have lost all there sparkle.
What a shame that you cant pull a bunny through on love.

That is so lovely, little binkies to let you know he is feeling better and telling mummy not to worry. I so agree with you Katie love, if we could pull them through with love, all bunnies would be in excellent health.
More loving vibes are on their way

So sorry that's he's taken a turn for the worse Katie
Really hope it's just a blip and the pain killer starts to be effective. At least his teeth have been seen to.

Re: Daisy's Abscess Diary UD IMPROVEMENT? p16x
Well he is brighter today, I thought he was going to have a full bout of stasis yesterday and the vet was thinking of admitting him today. We have started using some zantac too, and are syringe feeding him again and he seems to have picked up this morning. We had some semi reasonable poos this morning and he seems a little brighter. We still have a way to go i think, but he does seem brighter today than he did yesterday.
Going to ring the vets in a bit to see whats next.

Poor Katie, your nerves must be shot.
Glad that they have found out what is bothering him. Hopefully he can get back to eating normally and regain some strength. He'll be back to being naughty very soon.

Re: Daisy's Abscess Diary UD IMPROVEMENT? p16x
He's doing well thanks Jo (although everytime I say that he then takes a backwards step). He was well enough to trundle into the garden at lunchtime and put up a chase when it was time to come in!
He's not 100% himself and we are still syringing him food twice a day just to keep that tummy ticking over so that we can be sure the meds are being absorbed. He doesnt seem to mind it - I think he secretly likes the cuddle from his daddy, but would never admit to it.
