Hi Helen,
He has been doing well. He has days where he doesnt want to eat very much and other days when you wouldnt know anything was wrong. I suspect that sometimes he is looking sad simply for the extra cuddles that brings......He was particularly "ill" last night after we cut his toenails........hmmmmmmm
Today is a good day, Matt is off this week so they are having some boy time apparently! When I went home for lunch he was chasing starlings out of the garden and looking very proud of himself, followed by a nice lounge under the hammock.

We once took Snuffles to the vet, at the weekend, emergency fees etc. and when we got there he was absolutely fine. Just keeping us on our toes me thinks.
I am so glad Daisy is better.

at his antics!!
So glad to hear he is doing better. It does sound as if he knows he'll get extra attention sometimes - you have one smart little bunster there!
Hope he continues to improve - the ABX will be doing a great job at fighting the infection, I'm sure.

Re: Daisy's Abscess Diary UD IMPROVEMENT? p16x
Well hes had a bad day today. He's not really eating and we have dribble under his chin. He is all mopey again and generally not happy.
He has had his pain killer and abx, but doesnt seem happy at all.
I am praying to god that this is his teeth, and not the abscess taking a turn for the worse. We can normally go 12 weeks and its only been 8, he hasnt really eaten a lot of hay so his teeth could have grown back more quickly.
We are going back to see Mr C next week when he is back from his hols, and in the mean time if I need to go back to syringing him I will.
Just as we think we are getting somewhere it all starts again.

Re: Daisy's Abscess Diary UD IMPROVEMENT? p16x
Hi All,
We have been back to the vets in Andover today. Mr C is a way at a conference but Mrs C stepped in and took care of us. What a lovely vet she is!
Daisy had yet another GA and it turns out his teeth had caused ulcers on his tongue, poor little guy.
Although he is groggy he has eaten more since we have been back this afternoon than he has done all week. Fingers crossed this will be him on the mend now. He has been right through the mill and his mummy is exhausted too.
I dont think I have ever been to a more friendly vets, they were all completely lovely.

Re: Daisy's Abscess Diary UD IMPROVEMENT? p16x
Have only just managed to read throught this thread, what a nightmare time you've had Katie! And poor little Daisy too.
It sounds like you have a fantastic vet though who only wants the best for Daisy and helping you in whatever way to keep him going, and you are doing an equally fantastic job looking after Daisy.
I really hope he starts to improve now, sending lots of get well vibes and nosey rubs for him and lots of vibes for you too!
xx

Aw Daisy you are going through it aren't you.
You wouldn't believe how much your mummy wants you to be so very cheeky, and the rest of us!

He's not eating this morning and he looks so very sad. He should be feeling better today, but he's not and he looks like he is in pain. I am completely terrified.
I know we keep asking but please send vibes. We really need them today x
