Re: Ear mites / Ear infection update
Pumpkin is doing well on the ear wash, its usually used on dogs and cats but its working on him and has stopped his ear spasming.
He is eating well again after stopping antibiotics for the past 2 wks , so hope he will begin to put weight on again.
About to get his Hutch and run sorted out for his gdn time , which I never thought I would be doing.. even the vet said she cant believe he is still with us.
Hope you can join me rabbit radio show this wednes

Pumpkin baby's lungs are sounding the best ever and he has put weight on
His right ear is looking good , the oticlean is working really well , its his left ear now thats got bad... so we are going to treat the left ear like we have the right and put drops down every night.

Re: Ear mites / Ear infection update
Pumpkin went back to the vet yesterday.
We have continued to use oticlean ear drops in both ears, it is working well. His fur is matted and he has lost some from behind his ears due to the amount the ears have cleared out.
Pumpkin is doing so well has put on weight and is nearly back at his 3kg.. amazingly he has had no painkiller for weeks now, his face/cheek has stopped twitching/spasming... Hi s chest is the clearest its been in a year.
We are all so amazed at how well he is doing, the vet said I thought he was a dead bunny but look at him now after a year of fancy constant treatment of antibiotics/steriods/painkillers/nausea medication/ear drops/ cleaners /anesthetics /ear washees etc ..who would have thought a basic ear cleaner would be the best thing for him...
Its such a blessing ..... we just keep hoping and praying oto clean will continue to work and thank God every day for the time we get to spend with him.
