Re: Domino has an abscess
Oh dear. Well Jelly has very sore feet. They are not in any way infected I can see that, but they are very very red. I have sudocreamed them and obviously now they are in the re done shed of softness so i expect she will be back to normal within a few days, she has been chasing pebbles and stamping alot due to Domino being poorly and its ended up making HER feet bad too.
They do look very sore but there is no infection so i will just do sudocream for a few days and if they dont get any better i will take her to the vet too - there is no way you could get meds into that beast so if i can clearly sees theres no infection i dont see the point.
Domino refused his last meds tonight on food and i had no back up left to syringe him so hes missed it tonight.
bless them x

Re: Domino has an abscess
Well at a glance it seems to be back, its barely visable but i can tell by the dip in the hock and how it looks a different colour. Will make an appointment tomorrow. Its not bad enough to warrant getting upset, but on Friday it will be two years since Peanut and it just makes me feel scared.

Oh honey - im sorry to hear this.
Its so good though that you have spotted it so early!
Could you call the vet and ask if its okay to get him started on some abx while you get your appointment?
