Domino has an abscess

Oh no Poor Domino. Is it where the last one was? Once they get one abscess, it seems to be 'in their bodies' doesn't it XX

Yeah its exactly the same, just a tiny little dot on his hock, its barely noticeable, it might be nothing, it might be...just... old tissue under there but it looks like an abscess to me. I hope it isnt, i know if it is he will be fine..... it will be ten days of septrin and then he will be okay, its just... i also know you cant do that forever.

Well he is seeing the vet at 6:30, except its the vet I am not a fan of,but its better than nothing isnt it!

Well its good news, the skin is broken and its quite dirty where he has been sitting in the litter tray for too long etc, but I have been given some stuff to clean it and some cream etc, and hopefully if we keep it clean and then the skin will repair itself etc. so we caught it just in time - again!

Just found White puss on his OTHER foot, the one with no problems. Higher up the base of his foot. Have phoned the vet to see if she can just give me antibiotics because we know what were dealing with. Managed to get a pic o. My phone, will upload in a bit. (on mobile ATM!)

What a relief, this is great news darling. Please give him a cuddle from his Auntie Jo. I am sure his other little foot will be OK, healing vibes are on their way. Please keep us up to date.

Good luck on getting the anti-b from the Vets. I cant see they would have any issues giving it to you hun.

Shes phoning me back to let me know if its okay later, i just dont see the point in a consultation when she saw him yesterday, and to be honest she should have looked further up his foot, and i will say that too.

They are giving us the antibiotics, going to get them in a minute. Think im going to keep Domino in the shed for a while and not let him in the run, at least for now. it feels mean but sometimes you have to be cruel to be kind.

Its all burst and is really sore for him, he isnt happy. The other foot that i was initially worried about has now abcessed too. I can't believe we are doing this again but with two feet. I feel distraught, I have spent the last half an hour in tears and I don't want to, i know I need to be positive for him but it's so difficult.

So sorry. I really feel for you going through all this distress again, especially with it being the anniversary of losing Peanut. I really hope this is just a bad patch and that Domino can get through it.
