Re: Vibes for Sparky please u/d cautiously optimistic...
Sparky has just had another mini-fit
I brought her veg upstairs and she was in her litter tray with her head weaving and horizontal nystagmus. She was stumbling about a bit as she was obviously disorientated and trying to get herself somewhere she felt safe. I picked her up and popped her on my chair and just gently held her body while her head wobbled about, just trying to make her feel secure. She was taking an unusually long time to come out of it, so I ended up shouting her Hudad in from the garage so we could get her into a carrier. Two reasons, one so she was confined / safe without the trauma of being touched, and two because if it had carried on much longer we'd have been off to the vets.
She must have been well out of it because she didn't widdle on me or my chair
She did come round and before long had enough control of her eyes to glare at me in disgust
Before I set her free, I took the opportunity to give her a good going-over with the Zoom Groom plus I have treated her with some mite spot-on stuff. It's about the only thing she's never been treated for, she does have a baldy patch on the back of her neck and it made a massive difference to Theo in just 24 hours.
She seems ok again now, she has washed off all the bits of Humum smell that she can get to and is currently trying to lick the back of her own neck....
Some vibes would not go amiss, please

Re: Vibes for Sparky please u/d cautiously optimistic...
Oh no Im sorry to hear she had another fit bless her and glad to hear that she has come through ok.
Are you ok? Its so traumatic to see them fit and not be able to do anything to stop it, so Im sending you a massive hug.
John said to me that when annabelle has her fits to cover her eyes gently so that it is dark and quiet and that when they come round its unlikely they would have remembered anything about it. It doesnt make it any less horrific, but knowing that she wont have been frightened makes me feel a little less terrified about it too. Thankfully she hasnt had one in a while (touching lots of wood).
Im sending her a zillion vibes and you both all my love x

Thanks peeps, I have had a bananana chip and feel a bit better, and I'm going to make Humum heat me up a snugglesafe in a minute. Then think of some more ways she can try to earn my forgiveness
