Vibes for Sparky please u/d cautiously optimistic...

I have been away for a few days do have missed the most recent updates. Am sending loads of vibes that the med starts to help and the fits become less severe/frequent. Am thinking of you all xx

Well, I have been fine for a week or so   

No fits and I've just had one wobbly moment which cleared fast.

Still a bit quiet and inactive so Humum is going to talk to the vet about perhaps reducing the dose of poison medicine and see how I go.

She has to go and pick up more medicine tomorrow and will book me in for blood tests   as they want to check my liver and kidney function are ok, apparently both can be affected by the medicine (another reason to get the dose as low as possible).

Cautiously good news indeed!

I am glad you are feeling better you lovely little bun but please try and understand that mum is giving you medicine to make you better. I know it tastes yukky but you need it to make you feel all well again.

That is great Sparky, I hope you continue to do well on your poison     but it is the good kind that hleps you and stops you having nasty fits so it is well worth it. Your humum and hudad are such good people and are looking after you so well. You should be proud of them.

Kepp us updated hun and I hope the bloods come back fine, it is same with metacam when dogs are on it long term, sam had to to have his liver checked but his was all good and hopefully will continue so.

Great news that you are feeling better and not had any nasty fit's Sparky let's hope that things change for you maybe the poison medicine is helping you.

My Dad use to say to me when I was a littl girl and I didn't want to take nasty medicine that the nastier it was the better it was for me and that it was magic so let's hope

How is Princess Sparky today?

Well, my breakfast was late and despite stomping around under Humum's bed I had to wait until nearly 7.30 am    

Apart from that I have been fine   



Daddy Jack has a weepy eye today though so if it's still the same tomorrow he'll be coming to see Claire with me....

I take my medicine in a min shredded wheat with no problem at all   




Much to my Humum's utter shock   

Meanie Claire took some of my blood   - we'll get results tomorrow and if all is good, look at reducing the phenobarbital dose a little bit.

I also have a little dose of Metaclopramide to have twice a day as apparently, apart from being a gut stimulant in buns, this is good for reducing any dizziness. And it is yummy

This drug is in many medications and is commonly used in those to
treat seizures. There are many drugs used to PTS those persons
judged to be guilty of severe crimes.
